People in the Shannonside region thinking of starting a business are being encouraged to take part in Local Enterprise Week.
The week is organised by Local Enterprises Offices and is supported by Enterprise Ireland and local authorities.
From Monday the 6th to Friday the 10th of March, there will be numerous events taking place across the region.
Michael Nevin from Longford LEO says some of the events have an emphasis on sustainability.
"We're running a serious of green clinics where businesses how they can become more energy efficient and environmentally sustainable and the other is digitilisation of processes, of systems. Building up your online capacity is so vital so we're trying to do work with companies on an individual basis, look at their need and then develop solutions to address those needs".
