A Roscommon secondary school principal says he's concerned  a big opportunity may be missed as regards reform of the Leaving Cert exam.

David Harding who is principal of Abbey Community College in Boyle says it was the Minister for Education herself who said in an interview in April last year that the experience gained during Covid could not be ignored.

Speaking on the Let's Talk show this afternoon, David Harding says a huge amount was learned about our education systems ability to adapt over the past two years, and that should be used now in favour of giving all kinds of students the best chance they have.
