A local author is set to launch a new book today at the Jolly Boys Christmas Market in Ballymahon.
The book 'Operation Blue Light Heroes' is the third in a series which has so far raised €22,000 for local charities. The book is written by Ballymahon author Jessica Thompson and illustrated by Pat Taafe. This year's beneficiaries are Little Blue Heroes Foundation and St Christopher's Services in Longford.
