The newly elected Cathaoirleach of the Ballinasloe LEA hopes to see progress in terms of housing locally. Cllr Evelyn Francis Parsons was elected to the role at Thursday's AGM.
An Independent representative, Cllr Parsons previously served the role from 2022 to 2023. She feels a number of measures can be introduced:
