Ballinamuck in Longford will host it's first ever St Patrick's Day Parade tomorrow.
Chairperson Margaret Dillon who's one of those who came up with the idea of a parade a few months ago says excitement is building in the area ahead of the event.
Margaret says they were surprised at the strength of support for the parade when they first put the call out and are looking forward to seeing the community coming together tomorrow.

She says a number of Ukrainian refugees who are being accommodated locally will be seeing their first parade this year.
'They will be in the parade as well and they are really excited especially for the kids so it is good for them.
We are confident that it is going to go good because the feedback is good.'
