The Central Statistics Office has reported that the Residential Property Price Index increase has surpassed the peak of April 2007.
Overall, house prices increased by 0.8% nationally with the median price of a house sitting at 295 thousand euro.
Longford has the lowest average price of 145 thousand euro while Dún-Laoighaire-Rathdown has the highest at 610 thousand euro.

The median price for Roscommon is 152 thousand euro with Leitrim coming in just slightly more expensive at 152 and a half thousand euro.
The most expensive postcode is A94 which is Blackrock with a median price of 710 thousand euro.
