Ukraine Independence Day celebrations are to take place in Athlone today.
The Ukranian community in Athlone will be honouring the historic date in St Mary's Hall on Northgate Street at 7 pm.
The show in Athlone will mark the nation's 33rd celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day this year.

Ukraine's culture will be showcased at the free event through a variety of traditional, Ukranian musical numbers.
The concert will also include Irish performers and musicians.
