The HSE's Athlone Walk in Test Centre will remain open this week.
The centre located at St Aloysius' College, will open today and Friday, between 10am and 4pm.
The Delta variant is fast becoming the most common circulating COVID variant in Ireland and the south Roscommon area has among the highest rates of Covid in the Shannonside region.

The HSE is urging anyone who has even minor upper respiratory symptoms, please get tested and is asking people not to go to work if you have symptoms, isolate yourself and arrange to get tested.
A review of the continued opening of the centre is due to take place at the end of this week.
