Spain has continued to roll out the re-opening of business despite an increase in case numbers

An Athlone native has been highlighting new regulations in Spain that've seen hospitality businesses reopen under new guidelines.

Madrid resident Morgan Fagg has been discussing the reopening of bars and nightclubs in the country ahead of discussions in Ireland over a road map for government restrictions.

Under current guidelines, nightclubs in Spain can now open from 4pm and must close at 10pm despite cases rising there over the last number of weeks.

The Mediterranean country has recorded over 75,000 deaths related to the virus and 3.27 million cases.

According to Morgan, Nightclubs in the capital city are full to current capacity levels.

Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show, he says the situation makes no sense when cases are on the rise.
