Athlone lotto player scoops €50,000 in EuroMillions draw

Athlone Lotto players are being urged to check their Euromillions tickets following a win of 50,000 euro in last night's Ireland's only draw.

The winning ticket was sold on the day of the draw at Centra on Church Street, Athlone

The Westmeath ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe while they make contact with the national lottery prize claims.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.
