A charity building project in Athlone is seeking urgent help to assist a family today.
Fireman Pa Berry suffered serious injuries while attending a house fire last October.
He is currently recovering from injuries to his head, his legs, his ribs, neck, throat, collar bone and spine.

His house and garden are in need of serious renovation to allow for a better living space for their three children, as well as for Pa's ongoing rehabilitation.
The project got underway yesterday and is now seeking help from bricklayers especially and a variety of tradesmen such as plasterers and general labourers until the 9th of March.
