Athleague landed the Roscommon camogie championship seeing off St. Dominic’s won by 1-7 to eight points in Ballyforan.

Athleague lead four points to two at the first water break. Points from Susan Spillane and Amy O’Connor helped St. Dominics settle as they trailed six points to four at half-time.

The game was level at seven points at piece after 44 minutes, but the game changed just before the second water break when Niamh Farrell converted a penalty.
