25-year-old nurse Fergal Guihen is hoping to complete his mammoth trip in just eleven months.

A young Arigna man will cycle 23,000 kilometres from Roscommon to Australia in a bid to raise money for two charities.

25-year-old nurse Fergal Guihen is hoping to complete his mammoth trip in just eleven months. The 'Rossie to Aussie' cycle will act as a fundraiser for Mayo Roscommon Hospice and suicide charity North West STOP. Fergal's cycle will take him throught 25 different countries and across three continents. The Sligo University Hospital healthcare worker has set up a page on idonate.ie in hopes of raising funds for the two worthy causes. Fergal says hopes to reach Sydney Opera House by February of next year:
