Gardaí have issued an appeal over a suspected arson attack in county Longford.
The alleged incident happened at around twenty past two on Friday in the Garvey's Close area of Longford town.
In a statement, Gardaí say that they attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage of a car by fire.

The blaze was extinguished by local fire services, and no injuries have been reported.
