A silent protest is due to take place in Ballinamore this afternoon in support of the Black Lives matter
The 'AllEyezOnUSA' event is described as a day of action and solidarity for Black people in America.
The demonstration is being organised by a group of concerned locals and a similar event is planned for Carrick-on-Shannon.

The Ballinamore group is meeting at the John Joe McGirl memorial at 3pm.
A march planned for Longford to also support the Black Lives matter movement was postponed after health and safety concerns.
