A revised planning application has been lodged for a new housing development in Co. Westmeath. The original application would've seen 130 houses and apartments built on the Ballinderry Road in Mullingar. However an appeal was lodged to An Bord Pleanala against the development following some opposition.
An Bord Pleanala have issued revised conditions that the housing development be reduced. Ballymount Contracting Limited are now seeking planning to construct 117 residential dwellings in the area. Westmeath County Planners will decide on the application at the end of April.
