ALONE will deliver over 2,000 Christmas dinners tomorrow, reflecting the growing need for support among older people this year. The charity says Ireland’s aging population is driving demand for its services. Today, nearly 200,000 older people live by themselves, with ALONE supporting around two thirds of them.
