Councillor Tony ward received the figures after asking at this month's HSE health forum west for an update on dental services for children under the age of 12.

The HSE also confirmed that Children waiting on General Anaesthetic services have no service at the moment and so all are waiting.

Roscommon University Hospital has not had any General Anaesthetic Paediatric service since March 2020, and some have been accommodated where possible in Mayo Hospital or Portiuncula or Galway.

Councillor ward says some families are even travelling long distances to access the appointments.
