High winds have led to some power outages in the region this morning,
According to the ESB power check website almost 1,500 homes and busiensses are without power in the general Rooskey/Strokestown area since half past ten this morning.
The ESB say they hope to have power back by 2 o’ clock this afternoon.

Just over 100 customers have been without power in the Geevagh, Ballyfarnon area of north Roscommon since around half past eight last night.
Power is expected to be restored there around 2 o’ clock this afternoon.
Another 130 electricity customers are without power in the Gorvagh area of Mohill due to a fault.

The fault there was reported around half past nine this morning and it’s estimated that it should be restored by half past one.
