Almost 100 people waiting for home support services across Roscommon

Almost 100 people are currently waiting for home support services in County Roscommon, according to the HSE.
The figure was confirmed by Chief Officer John Fitzmaurice at February's Regional Health Forum West in response to a question from Cllr Tony Ward.

84 people are currently waiting for additional supports while 11 are waiting for a new service to commence.
Meanwhile, two people are on the waiting list for acute home support services.
Of those currently waiting, 61 are based within the south Roscommon area.
