Trainer Aidan O'Brien has won the QIPCO 1,000 Guineas for the fourth time in five years thanks to his only runner, Love.

She quickened clear under Ryan Moore for a decisive win in the fillies classic with long-time leader Cloak of Spirits second and the favourite Quadrilateral in third.

It’s the sixth win in the race for Aidan O'Brien and his 4th in the last five years, because of pandemic travel restrictions O'Brien didn't travel to the race.

Elsewhere, Charlie Appleby and James Doyle teamed up to take the Spring Trophy Stakes at Haydock with Space Blues and he has seen his odds shorten into 14/1 from 20/1 for the Queen Anne Stakes.

The Prince of Wales has seen some movement also following Lord North landing the Brigadier Gerard Stakes at Haydock for in-form trainer John Gosden with his chances trimmed into 12/1 from 20/1, while the runner up Elarqam is 16/1 from 25/1.

Racing is back in Ireland tomorrow after an 11 week break due to the pandemic.
