A Longford primary school recently became the first school in the county to achieve all ten Green-Schools flags.
Scoil Bhríde Glen National School in Edgeworthstown were awarded the Global Citizenship Food and Biodiversity flag at an awards ceremony held in Athlone last week.
The school started the programme in 2003 and now have earned all ten Green-Schools flags.
