46 homeless adults in emergency accommodation in Shannonside region

Almost 50 homeless adults in the Shannonside region were in emergency accommodation in February.

A new report shows there were 18 in Longford, 15 in Leitrim and 13 in Roscommon. There were nearly 10,000 adults in emergency accommodation across the country in February, along with nearly 4,200 children. Sinn Fein local elections candidate in Longford, James Donnelly, says the problem is not confined to the main cities.
