Over 450 Ukrainian students have enrolled in schools across the Shannonside region since the beginning of the conflict.
It comes as recent figures from the CSO show that over 1,600 people have arrived in Leitrim, Longford, and Roscommon from Ukraine.
Leitrim currently has 215 children enrolled in primary and secondary schools, up from 147 in June.

85 children are currently enrolled in Longford and 153 in Roscommon. Both figures are an increase of, on average, 57 percent from June.
Almost 12,000 Ukrainian children have enrolled in schools around the country since the invasion began.
