120 vulnerable people in Roscommon languishing on respite waiting lists

A total of 120 vulnerable people in Co Roscommon are on the waiting list for day and overnight respite care.

Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane told the Dáil respite is vital to give loved ones and carers a break.

She says it significantly delays the need for long-term residential care.
