12 year old hospitalised following traffic collision in Mohill

A 12 year boy and a woman have both been hospitalised following a traffic incident in Mohill, county Leitrim this afternoon.

Gardaí were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle on the Station road in the village at 3.30 this afternoon.

The boy has been taken to Templestreet Hospital in Dublin with non-life threatening injuries, while the woman was admitted to Sligo University Hospital.

The road had been closed for a time but has now reopened to motorists.
