100% of decisions made by Roscommon County planners were upheld by An Bord Pleanála last year.
The National Oversight and Audit Commission has released its Local Authority Performance Indicator Report for 2022 breaking down planning appeals.
The Local Authority Performance Indicator Report for 2022 showed that all County Councils across the region had at least 50% of decisions upheld.
The report stated that Roscommon County Council had 100% of their decisions confirmed by An Bord Pleanala in 2022.
Longford County Council was just behind, having three quarters of appeals againsnt their decisions deemed unsuccessful.
66% of decisions remained the same in Cavan, while Leitrim County Council had 64% of appeals upheld by An Bord Pleanala.
Finally, Monaghan County Council had the highest percentage of successfull planning appeals, with 45% of decisions overturned.
