Close to 1 million euro has been announced to tackle educational disadvantage in the Shannonside region.
The funds are part of a national grant of 6.85 million announced this morning to help support online learning, connect communities and provide social support.
Mayo/Sligo/Leitrim ETB has been awarded €450,737 with €21,261 allocated to the North Connaught Youth and Community Services.

€21,171 has been awarded to Moore Community School as part of the grant to the Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board.
While in Longford, the Muiriosa Foundation will receive €31,951 from the LWETB.
