Oran and Roscommon Gaels secured victory on the opening night of round two in the Roscommon championship.

Glaveys staged a big comeback in this one, but it fell short in the end. Oran led seven points to one at half-time.

The second-half opened with a Glaveys own goal and five minutes later Gearoid Keenan found the Glaveys net. At 2-8 to two points it looked all over.
10 minutes later David Frayne found the Gaels net. With five minutes remaining it was game on as Shane Fagan grabbed Glaveys second goal to make it a two point game.
Shane Walsh grabbed an Oran point on the hour mark and that was enough for Oran to take both points, 2-10 to 2-7.
