The attention this weekend on the rallying front is on the Triton Showers National championship with the Connacht Sligo stages rally Round 5.
Eddie Doherty and Tom Murphy are the number one seeds in their Skoda. Whereas, Sam Moffett and Shane Buckley at number two in the Hyundai; while Josh Moffett and Keith Morarity, winners of the last round will have number 3 on the door of their Hyundai.
Barry Morris and Dylan Doonan are the top modified seeds at 15 in their Darrian T90. Whereas, Cavan's Aaron McIntyre who claimed an impressive modified win at the recent Donegal International rally in his Toyota Starlet.
Crews will tackle the usual format of three stages three times with the first stage underway shortly after 10am.
The Sligo Park Hotel is headquarters for the rally.
