The draws for Round 1 of the Tailteann cup have been made following another weekend of provincial championship action.
Fermanagh who lost out to Armagh in the Ulster quarter final will take on Longford. Laois will meet Wicklow, Clare face Offaly, Carlow are up against Antrim; Wexford take on Limerick, Sligo will face Tipperary while Waterford have been drawn against London.
Leitrim were defeated by Galway in the Connacht semi-final will have to wait and see who their opposition is. With Westmeath and Down both in provincial semi-finals, should they win those games they will secure a place in the All-Ireland series. That would see Cavan take their place in the competition.
The opening round of fixtures in the Tailteann cup are scheduled for the week ending the 10th of May.
The provincial championships are also taking shape. In Connacht Roscommon and Galway will contest the final following their wins over Mayo and Leitrim. Cork and Kerry will new their rivlary in Munster after they both claimed comfortable semi final wins while in Ulster Down will face Armagh in the last four on Sunday in St Tiernachs Park Clones while on Saturday evening Monaghan take on Derry.
It was a break in the Leinster championship last weekend, but the semi final pairings is Louth against Dublin while Westmeath face Kildare
