St Brigids booked their place in the Roscommon semi-finals with a three point win over Clan na nGael.
Ben O’Carroll found the Clan net moments into the game. O’Carroll added the game’s opening point three minutes later as Brigids took control.
Robbie Dolan, Conor Gleeson, Bobby Nugent, Shane Cunnane and Ciaran Surgue all added points as Brigids led 1-6 to four points at half-time.
O’Carroll found the net again within 60 seconds of the restart this time from the penalty spot.
Nugent, Cunnane, Conor Hand, Eddie Nolan, Paul McGrath, O’Carroll added second-half points.
Clann battled back and found the Brigids net four minutes from time, but it wasn’t enough as Brigids had enough in the back.
Brigids advanced to the semi-finals by three points winning out 2-12 to 1-12.
