In 1997 the St Brigid’s senior men won the county title. The team were victorious over near neighbours and reigning champions, Clann na nGael.

1997 ended a wait of 28 years since the Fahey Cup was last in the parish of Kiltoom and Cam. In December of 2019, the club marked the 50th anniversary of the 1969 win with a function in the clubhouse.
