Shane McGuirk claimed victory on week four of the Modus Super Series 11 ensuring his place in the champion’s week.
Having lost his opening round group game to Scott Campbell; the Monaghan man got back on track with a win over David Sharp to set up a semi-final against Jamai Van Den Herik.
McGuirk comfortably saw off Van Den Herik, setting up a meeting against Kurt Parry in the final.

Speaking on the Modus Supers Series Social media channel after the win, Shane remarked that winning the world title at Christmas had given him and his game an added confidence.
