Derry proved too strong for Roscommon in All-Ireland under-20 B final.
Six points separated the sides in this afternoons Under-20 B Final played in Cavan.
Kelan Doran and Oisin Finneran registered Roscommon’s opening two points. The sides were level after three minutes, two points apiece.
Derry hit a goal and six points without reply before Conor Morris and Gavin Staunton ended the Roscommon drought with three unanswered points of their own.
David Mannion hit a goal and a point on the brink of half time, leaving three between the sides at the break.
At half-time Derry led by three, 1-10 to 1-07.
David Mannion opened Roscommon’s scoring for the second half, as Derry stared the stronger of the sides.
Conor Morris added three further points for Roscommon but Derry’s quality throughout the entire half proved too much for Roscommon.
