Brothers Sam and Cian Prendergast will start for Ireland in Thursday's Six Nations opener against France in Paris. Sam is set to line out at fly-half, while Cian is included in the back row alongside Josh van der Flier and Caelan Doris. Jacob Stockdale has been selected to play on the left wing and Jamie Osborne is named at full back. The Irish front row will include Jeremy Loughman, Dan Sheehan and Thomas Clarkson. There's a 6-2 split on the bench but Tadhg Furlong is not in the matchday squad as he continues his recovery from a calf injury. Head coach Andy Farrell says they have to be cautious with Furlong's return.
