GAA president Jarlath Burns has revealed that August All-Ireland finals could return in 2027.
The showpiece games are currently slated for July, and Burns confirmed that concerts already scheduled for Croke Park means that a move to August in 2026 is not viable.
Burns also expressed a preference for drawn provincial finals going to replays; rather than penalty shootouts to decide the winner on the day.
However, Burns, stresses that the Association want a solution that eases any concerns from the GAA community.
