The Irish team for the Women's World Boxing championships has been announced.
The O'Rourke sisters; Lisa and Aoife from Castlerea have been included along with Carleigh Irving, Dania Moorehouse, Jenny Lehane, Michaela Walsh, Judy Bobbett and Grainne Walsh.
Serbia will host the championships from March 6th to 17th. The squad has been involved in high quality training that included a sparring camps with France and China. The team depart for Nis on Thursday.

The draw and Opening Ceremony take place on Saturday, March eighth and boxing begins on the ninth. Whereas, March 15th is a rest day at the tournament, and all finals will be boxed on Sunday, March 16th.
