The opening round of the night navigation championship takes place this Saturday night, hosted by the Cork Motorclub.
The Startrek navigation trial will be held over a route of 80 miles with headquarters from the Donoughmore community hall, which is situated halfway between Mallow and Cork.
Chiefly, the first car is away at 11:30pm with the usual competitive classes of expert, semi-expert, novice and beginner. Whereas, a new class for endurance cars has been included.
