Mike Solan steps down as Leitrim assistant manager

Mike Solan has stepped down from his role as assistant Leitrim senior football manager due to work commitments.

Solan has fulfilled the position since Andy Moran took over the reins approximately two years ago.

Solan masterminded All-Ireland success with Mayo’s underage teams. His departure leaves a major void in the Leitrim set-up.

Aughnasheelin's Barry McWeeney and Sligo's Luke Bree currently make up the remainder of Leitrim’s backroom team.

Moran confirmed that a replacement has not been appointed yet.
