Meath planning move to Croke Park

The Royal county are to commence development works at their grounds in Navan

Meath planning to play their 2026 Allianz Football League games at Croke Park as Páirc Tailteann prepares for a major €20 million redevelopment.

The Navan venue is set to close later this year. Indeed, demolition of the old stand expected to begin after the county finals in October.

A new 5,000-seater stand, dressing rooms, floodlights, and media facilities are all part of the upgrade.

If approved, the move to Croker could see Meath share double-header league fixtures with Dublin next spring.
