An all-Leinster Division 3B tie after Longford got off to an ideal start in Round one with a morale-boosting two-point win against Wicklow after unveiling Glennon Brothers as their new principal sponsor.
The Midlanders will hope to make it two wins from two, when they entertain Laois at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Emer Heaney’s goal helping Longford to a 1-7 to eight point win last week.
Laois will travel with confidence, however, after racking up 2-16 in a three-point win over Kildare in their first outing.
