The county are in Division 4 and have suffered 2 defeats in the Tailteann cup

Longford county chairman Derek Fahy believes the GAA need to look at the championship structure especially for those teams in Division 4. The county currently find themselves in the lower divison of the league and suffered 2 defeats in the Tailteann cup. Speaking at the club championship draw last night Fahy question how realistic would be for a division 4 team to win what is the secondary championship
