Lisa O'Rourke claimed gold in her comeback tournament in Poland over the weekend.
The Roscommon boxer was making a return to the ring after claiming a world title back in May 2022. O’Rourke overcame fellow Irish boxer Grainne Walsh in the 66kg bout.
With her sister Aoife already Paris bound for the Olympics, Lisa will be hoping her Polish success will be a positive ahead of the Olympic Qualifiers early next year.
