Leitrim got off to a strong start. Kate Gormely hit the back of the Fermanagh net twice inside the opening five minutes.
Sarah Britton got a goal for the hosts after 16 minutes. However, Leitrim kept their noses in front taking a one point lead to the break, 2-4 to 1-6.
Leah Fox got Leitrim’s third goal of the contest after 31 minutes before their fourth goal arrived on 50 minutes.
Points from Muireann Devaney kept the Leitrim lead intact with a Siomha Quinn point bringing proceedings to a close, securing the victory for Leitrim.
Leitrim booked a home quarter-final place after running out eight point winners, 4-12 to 1-13.
Meanwhile, in the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Championship Offaly got the better of Longford 1-22 to 3-2.
