Leitrim and Longford hurlers both claimed overseas wins in the Lory Meagher Cup.
Leitrim were 11 point winners over Lancashire in the first of the two games.
Despite conceding a goal after two minutes, Leitrim rallied strongly with points from Colm Canning, Daniel Millar and Paul Mulligan.
The visitors staying in touch as they trailed by two points after 13 minutes.
A Stephen Goldrick point after 22 minutes gave Leitrim the lead. However, Daniel Miller and Gavin O’Hagan added further scores for Leitrim who took a three point lead to the break.
Leitrim led 14-points to 1-8 at half-time. Two goals in the opening six minutes if the second-half left Leitrim in a healthy position.
Lancashire got their second goal of the day after 52 minutes, but further scores from Colm Canning and Daniel Miller helped secure the win for the visitors.
Leitrim running out 11 point winners 2-26 to 2-15.
Longford also recorded a victory in the second game of the afternoon.
With four goals shared in the opening half. Longford held a slender one point lead at the break.
The visitors led 2-9 to 2-8 despite trailing by 10 points inside the opening 10 minutes.
The goals kept coming in the second-half with both sides getting their third goals of the day after 45 minutes.
Longford took full control for the remainder of the contest as they ran out comfortable 15 point winners, 4-24 to 3-12 at Pairc na hEireann.
