The GAA Championship is on course to proceed behind closed doors following the placement of the entire country under Level 3 guidelines to deal with

The GAA Championship is on course to proceed behind closed doors following the placement of the entire country under Level 3 guidelines to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

Club matches have been postponed until further notice due to compliance issues around social distancing, primarily when it comes to post match celebrations.

Former Cavan manager and All Ireland winner with Donegal, Martin Mc Hugh is hopeful that the intercounty championship will happen,

The Camogie Association has followed the GAA in suspending all club competitions in the interests of public safety, across all ages and grades.

The governing body of Camogie will allow training in line with the state's guidelines for living with COVID-19 and the conditions within the six counties.

As is the case with Gaelic Football, Hurling and Ladies Football, the senior inter-county Camogie Championship remains scheduled to proceed.
