Fenagh took a bit step to the semi-final stage of the Leitrim championship after a huge victory over Dromahair. While Mohill grabbed a last gasp victory.
Dromahair St. Patrick’s 2-8 Fenagh St. Cailins 5-27
Fenagh made it three wins from three as they downed Dromahair in this one sided encounter.
The visitors led 3-12 to one at half-time. It was all too easy in the first-half. Ryan O’Rourke found the net twice with a Riordan O’Rourke all in the first 18 minutes.
Fenagh added two goals in the second-half through Fergal and Oisin McLoughlin before taking their foot off the pedal.
Dromahair scored 2-7 in the second-half with Gary Fowley twice finding the net in the final 10 minutes but the game was long over.
Fenagh sit top of the Leitrim championship table with three wins from three with Dromahair propping it up.
Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins 0-14 Mohill 1-10
Tom Prior struck late on to seal Ballinamore victory and move Ballinamore to four point in this battle of the heavyweights.
Jonathan Reynolds found the Heslins net after 10 minute. The sides were tied 1-4 to seven points at the break.
It was end to end in the second-half until Luke Murphy edged Ballinamore two points ahead with three minutes remaining.
A Shane Quinn point and one from Fiachra McGuinness two minutes into injury time seemed to have sealed a draw for Mohill.
Low and behold Tom Prior to kick the winning score four minutes into injury time.
Ballinamore sit second overnight with four points from six. Mohill have two to their name.
