Longford's Packie Duffy was the best of the visitors to the Farney county

Elijah and Abraham Dixon came out on top in the Night navigation trial on Saturday night. The Novice crew topped the leader board on 4 penalties. Isaiah and David Dixon were 2nd overall on 6 penalites and winners of the semi expert class with Conor Boylan and Derek Mackeral 3rd and the best of the expert crews on 10 penalties. Midlands driver Packie Duffy with regular navigator Evin Hughes on the maps were 4th overall. Darren Lavery and Aaron Mc Gorman took the novice honours with Larah Connolly and Justin Smith the best of the beginners. The trial was a counting round of the Monaghan motor club championship and seen 24 crews complete the 80 mile route which had its headquarters from Drumhowan.
