Longford Town will complete their season in the SSE Airtricity league Premier division without manager Daire Doyle after the club announced his departure by mutual consent. Doyle lead the club to the top table via the play off route from Division 1 in 2020 and after a winning start to this year's season the rest of the campaign was notable for a number of injury time losses in key games that seen the Town's relegation confirmed last month. In a statement from the club, they thanked Daire for "his efforts over the past seasons" and also confirmed that John Martin would act as manager for the remaining 3 fixtures of the season.
